The aluminum foil scrap coming out from the molding process must be evacuated, correctly stored and recycled.

An aspirator is used to create a depression in the tube that sits in front of the mould and able to convey the scrap inside a separate collector.

There is usually an aspirator for every press and a centralized collector system that will eventually compact the aluminum.

When the scrap passes inside the fan, it’s fine minced; it then collects the parts in a calm lung able to filter the airflow and places it in a tank. At the end, the scrap is pressed and compacted into bricks.

The fan aspirator can be situated beside the press or in a pit in front of to the press.

The collected scraps can be located or centralized which is not specified in the above figure.
